Finished in Suzuka Gray Metallic over a Black interior with Express Red Stitching, this 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus has been transformed into an extensively developed twin-turbo supercar producing 950 horsepower and 800 wheel horsepower on 93-octane fuel. From the factory, the R8 V10 Plus is powered by Audi's naturally aspirated 5.2-liter FSI V10 producing 610 horsepower and paired with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The V10 Plus specification also incorporates extensive factory carbon fiber, ceramic brakes, Sport Exhaust, Audi Drive Select, and performance-focused chassis hardware, creating an exceptional foundation for the extensive twin-turbo build.

This example was exceptionally specified from the factory in Suzuka Gray Metallic with a Black interior and Express Red Stitching. The Diamond Stitch Leather Package adds 18-way power seats with pneumatic leg and side bolsters, diamond-stitched sport seats, a full leather package, and a diamond-stitched headliner. Additional factory equipment includes Bang & Olufsen audio, Dynamic Steering, Contrast Stitching, and Audi Guard all-weather floor mats. The factory specification also includes carbon ceramic brakes and extensive carbon fiber throughout the exterior, engine compartment, and interior, resulting in an original MSRP of $203,990.

At the heart of the build is a Weistec Twin Turbo Kit featuring Precision Gen 2 PT6266 turbochargers. The comprehensive system incorporates Precision PW46 wastegates, 50mm bypass valves, dual water-to-air intercoolers with -12AN coolant ports, side-mounted heat exchangers, dual SPAL fan shrouds, stainless braided and shielded coolant lines, extensive heat shielding, a large intercooler recovery tank, and dedicated relay harnesses for the water pump and heat exchanger fans. A 55 GPM water pump provides additional coolant circulation to support the upgraded charge-cooling system.

Additional supporting engine hardware includes intake runner reinforcement rings, a Boost Logic manifold sealing kit, Boost Logic oil drain, and Boost Logic engine breather kit. Engine and transmission management are handled by Steven Pearson of Pearson Tuning through a dedicated DS1 engine calibration and transmission tune. On 93-octane pump fuel at only 7 PSI of boost, the combination produces 950 horsepower and 800 wheel horsepower, while the Precision Gen 2 PT6266 turbochargers themselves are rated to support up to 1,600 horsepower.

The exhaust system has been completely reconfigured around a custom center-exit design with a dedicated center-exit exhaust cutout, creating an appropriately exotic rear presentation and soundtrack for the twin-turbocharged V10. H&R VTF adjustable springs provide a lower and more aggressive stance with adjustable ride height, complementing the performance-focused character and dramatic proportions of the R8.

A major visual centerpiece of the build is the custom set of 20-inch BBS LM wheels finished with Gloss White faces and polished lips. Representing a premium $12,000 wheel package, the iconic multi-piece BBS design provides a dramatic contrast against the Suzuka Gray Metallic exterior while prominently showcasing the factory carbon ceramic braking system.

The exterior has undergone an extensive carbon fiber transformation featuring an Audi Sport carbon fiber front lip and side skirts, APR carbon fiber front canards, carbon fiber rear side canards, carbon fiber rear bumper side extensions, and an Automotive Passion Swan-Neck GT wing. An Audi Sport Black front grille, blacked-out Audi emblems, blacked-out side markers, and a Gloss Black wrapped gas cap further sharpen the exterior presentation while complementing the extensive factory carbon fiber already present on the V10 Plus.

The attention to detail continues into the engine bay with an Automotive Passion carbon fiber engine X-brace, complementing the factory carbon fiber engine compartment and creating an even more dramatic presentation around the naturally aspirated V10-turned-twin-turbo powerplant. Inside, a carbon fiber and Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel with a Red center stripe provides a more performance-focused driver interface, while a P3 Gauges OBD2 multi-gauge provides additional vehicle monitoring.

The exterior is further preserved with a full-vehicle ceramic coating and front bumper paint protection film, helping protect the Suzuka Gray Metallic finish and extensive carbon fiber components. The vehicle is finished with 15% tint around the cabin and 50% windshield tint, completing the darker, performance-focused exterior presentation.
