Finished in Pearl White over a Black interior, this 2016 Nissan GT-R Nismo has been transformed by The Sauce Shop into an exceptionally serious four-digit-horsepower R35 capable of producing up to 1,200 wheel horsepower. Built upon the already highly desirable GT-R Nismo platform, the car originally featured a Nismo-tuned 600-horsepower VR38DETT, Nismo-specific suspension tuning, forged RAYS wheels, Recaro seating, extensive carbon fiber aerodynamics, and distinctive Nismo interior appointments. Its factory specification carried an original MSRP of $152,880.

At the heart of the build is a $26,000 Lynchmoto Stage 1 built motor featuring Manley Turbo Tuff V183 rods, Wiseco LMR Spec 10:1 pistons, Trend .250 piston pins, ARP main studs and 625 head studs, upgraded Nissan rod and main bearings, a Nissan oil pump, and an extensive collection of new timing components. Three Nissan timing chains, three timing-chain tensioners, two VVT gears, a Nissan Master Gasket Kit, and a Dodson front-cover oil-passage gasket kit complete a comprehensively reinforced VR38 foundation engineered around extreme four-digit power.

Forced induction is centered around a Boost Logic 1050X 68mm turbo system with new cast manifolds, supported by a Boost Logic intake manifold, 3.5-inch titanium intakes, AMS Race intercooler, Boost Logic Race catch can, and upgraded coolant tank. Fuel delivery is handled by a Fore triple-pump fuel system with Fore fuel rails and pressure regulator, Injector Dynamics ID1700 injectors, flex-fuel hardware, and a KTuner flex-fuel converter. An SBD 4-inch cat-back exhaust complements the high-output turbo system and provides the exhaust flow required by the extensively developed VR38 combination.

Power is transferred through an extensively developed Sauce Shop 1000 transmission incorporating a Linney Formula gearset, Linney forged extra-wide drop gears, SauceShop 18-plate clutch with Viton seals, forged Linney clutch baskets, and a Linney 11-11 carbon plate clutch. The drivetrain has been reinforced well beyond the transmission itself with a Linney billet front differential case housing, billet front ring and pinion, front and rear Wavetrac differentials, billet thrust plate, DSS Pro axles, and a T1 rear differential / transmission brace. Together, these components create a comprehensive drivetrain package engineered to manage the extreme output of the built VR38.

Engine management is handled through a dedicated MoTeC ECU with final calibration performed by Nick Dixon of FinalTuned. The complete combination is rated for 1,500 horsepower and capable of producing up to 1,200 wheel horsepower. Four selectable maps provide approximately 900 WHP, 1,000 WHP, 1,100 WHP, and 1,200 WHP, allowing the power level to be tailored to different driving conditions and performance requirements.

Braking has been comprehensively upgraded with an AMS Performance Carbon Ceramic Brake Package, providing premium lightweight braking hardware appropriate for a GT-R operating at this level of performance. The Brembo calipers have been professionally powder coated Candy Apple Red, creating a distinctive visual contrast against the Pearl White exterior. A dedicated 15-inch rear brake conversion provides the necessary compatibility and clearance for the drag-oriented rear wheel package.

The build incorporates dedicated street and drag wheel configurations. The street/front setup utilizes 18x10.5 Volk Racing ZE40 wheels with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires, while the dedicated rear drag setup features 17-inch Sauce Shop beadlock wheels wrapped in P305/45R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires. This combination gives the GT-R dedicated hardware for putting its four-digit output to the ground while retaining a premium motorsport-inspired street setup.

Inside, an SBD digital dash provides comprehensive vehicle monitoring, while a Zencarbon carbon fiber steering wheel further enhances the driver-focused cockpit. An AL Priority system with front and rear sensors completes the professionally integrated electronics package while retaining the distinctive factory Nismo interior environment.
