Finished in Oxford White over a Dark Graphite interior, this 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning represents one of Ford SVT's most iconic performance trucks, combining a factory-supercharged V8 with a purpose-developed sport-truck chassis and distinctive Flareside bodywork. Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter Triton V8 producing 380 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, the Lightning sends its power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a 3.73 limited-slip rear differential.

The SVT Lightning was engineered as considerably more than a conventional F-150 with additional horsepower. Its factory performance hardware includes a specially tuned suspension with heavy-duty gas shock absorbers, front and rear stabilizer bars, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, external transmission and power-steering coolers, heavy-duty engine cooling, and 18-inch x 9.5-inch 5-spoke cast-aluminum wheels. A unique factory dual side-exit exhaust further distinguishes the Lightning and reinforces its performance-focused character.

The Oxford White exterior features the Lightning's distinctive Flareside pickup box, unique upper and lower grilles, color-keyed grille and headlamp surrounds, color-keyed rocker moldings and bumpers, clear-lens lighting, round fog lamps, and dual rear access doors. This example was also originally equipped with the optional Soft Tonneau Cover, contributing to an original MSRP of $33,460.

Inside, the Dark Graphite cabin features numerous SVT-specific appointments, including a unique cloth and leather front seat with additional side bolstering and embroidered SVT lettering, a leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheel, and distinctive white-faced instrumentation featuring a 140-mph speedometer and dedicated supercharger boost gauge. Power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, a power driver seat, speed control, and a premium stereo with a 6-disc in-dash CD changer provide additional everyday usability.

The supercharged V8 soundtrack has been enhanced with a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust system, providing a deeper and more aggressive exhaust character that complements the Lightning's factory performance-focused personality. Hydraulic hood struts add convenient engine-bay access and replace the need for a traditional hood prop.

The truck bed has also been professionally protected with Tuckers Tuffer Coating spray-in bed lining, creating a durable protective surface designed to withstand regular cargo use while helping preserve the condition of the Flareside bed.
