Finished in Billet Silver Metallic Clear Coat over a Black Leather interior, this 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has been extensively transformed into a purpose-built trail and off-road platform with a comprehensive collection of suspension, drivetrain, armor, recovery, and lighting upgrades. Powered by Jeep's 3.6-liter V6 and paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Rubicon was already exceptionally capable from the factory with a 4:1 Rock-Trac HD part-time four-wheel-drive system, Tru-Lok front and rear locking axles, Dana 44 HD axles, electronic front sway bar disconnect, and extensive factory skid protection. This example was also extensively optioned with the LED Lighting Group, Electronic Infotainment System Group, Jeep Active Safety Group, Body Color Freedom Top, leather-trimmed seats, Alpine premium audio, and additional equipment, resulting in an original MSRP of $50,390.

The suspension and drivetrain have been extensively upgraded to support serious off-road use and the massive 39-inch tire package. A MetalCloak 3.5-inch True Dual Rate lift system is paired with RockSport MC long travel shocks, MetalCloak full metal ball joints, and a MetalCloak sector shaft brace, providing increased clearance, articulation, and steering support. The drivetrain has been upgraded with an Ultimate Dana 44 axle CV set and 4.88 gearing with front and rear electronic lockers, properly complementing the 39x12.50R17 Kanati Mud Hog tires and creating a substantially more capable foundation for demanding terrain.

Trail protection and recovery equipment are equally comprehensive. Poison Spyder Crawler front and rear bumpers are paired with a Poison Spyder Rear Bruiser & Crawler tire carrier and WARN VR EVO 10-S winch with synthetic rope. EVO oil and transmission skid plates, DV8 Offroad front and rear Dana 44 differential skids, Barricade rock sliders, and Nilight front and rear inner fender liners provide extensive protection for vulnerable components, creating a Jeep designed to handle serious trail use rather than simply achieve an aggressive appearance.

Additional trail-focused equipment includes a Quake LED fender chop kit, rear flush-mount LED taillights, KC HiLiTES, a 4K rear backup / trail camera, JScan tuner with bypass harness, rear cargo security box, and EZ Shade cover. An aFe Performance custom exhaust adds a more aggressive character to the 3.6-liter V6, while the combination of auxiliary lighting, trail camera visibility, secure storage, and recovery equipment provides useful functionality for both recreational off-roading and extended backcountry use.
